Rose Cottage is an attractive two bedroomed thatched cottage with a shower room, a small living room, a kitchen and a large pleasant stoep. It is perfect for a family of four.

80 years ago Rose cottage consisted of just two rondavels, and housed two young gentlemen – Charles and Colin Baber. These youths grew up to be much loved and respected patriarchs of the Waterberg community, whose memory and achievements remain throughout the region.

Today Rose has been refurbished, while still retaining many original features, such as the doors, made from packing cases by the original pioneers. In addition we have added a theme of boekenhout – a beautiful local wood – throughout the cottage.

Rose had its own private fenced garden containing guava, fig and mulberry trees (guests are welcome to help themselves).
