Our ten Africamps glamping tents are tucked into the Waterberg bush, a short walk from the main camp — each with its own wood-fired hot tub, private braai deck, and views into the reserve. Wake up to the sounds of birdsong and passing wildlife. Fall asleep watching stars through the canvas.
Africamps at Waterberg combines the wildness of the bush with all the comforts you'd want — proper beds, hot showers, and a fully equipped kitchen. No roughing it. Just the real thing.While providing the close contact with nature that campers enjoy, each Africamps tent is also well equipped with the essentials for comfortable living – hot water, electricity, a gas-fired hob, fans and WiFi access. Mounted on each deck is a wood-fired hot-tub and a braai stand and each tent has a wood-fired stove inside for cold nights.
The comfortable beds – two double beds and one bunk bed – can accommodate a family of five or two couples.
Within walking distance of Waterberg Cottages, Africamps guests can cool off in the 15m swimming pool, relax in the communal gardens and play areas or to stock up with ice, firewood and a few other goodies at the small shop on the property.
Although game often wanders past the front of the tents, guests are encouraged to book a horse-ride or a game drive to take full advantage of enjoying the beautiful areas and variety of animals of this 2,500ha private game reserve.
